About: Paul Noon
Paul was a former Youth Professional soccer player with Burnley Fc from the UK. After Injury cut short his career, he then embarked on a coaching career in Spain, Scotland and Holland. He eventually landed in the USA, and met the legendary Charlie Cooke the Former Scottish International who had begun a new buisness with Coerver Coaching the Worlds # 1 Youth Soccer coaching method. Since then his services have been sought and he has spent the last 20 years building clubs and programs up from the grass roots level to Elite programs around the country. He holds licences from 5 Countries and still lectures and conducts clinics around the world. His love of wine and food came in to play and through a celebrity friend many years later he decided to explore the world of wine and food. For the past 10 years he has continued his soccer fix alongside his passion for food and wine pairing and lectures on this passion. He currently holds certifications from Robert Parker the World renowned wine expert. Along with Professional Coaching accreditations from all the Worlds leading Soccer nations for Coaching. Including, USSF, NSCAA, English FA,Scottish FA and Dutch FA. For the past 24 Years he has been a studio analyst for ABC , NBC, CBS and ESPN Covering the World Cups. Despite a very busy career in education and mentoring young coaches. He holds a degree in Broadcasting. On the fun side of Paul’s career he was Rod Stewarts supplier for soccer balls to his concerts and arranged games around Rod’s scheduled performances, so many soccer games later, Rod Introduced him to Ted Danson, he then began working for Paramount pictures in LA in 1994. On the same movie Ted met his future wife Mary Steenburgen, after one movie he left to go back to soccer and fulfil his committment to the World Cup. Paul currently resides in Columbus Ohio.
